As I write, the cobwebs of 2012 are being swept away as we get stuck into a new year. Admittedly any year with '13' in it has to be treated with some caution but I am optimistic it will be a year of progress. Certainly it's already a year of progress for Portfolio Publishing as we unveil our new-look website.
In these fast-moving times, an 18-month old website is seen as something in need of a revamp and that's certainly true for us. There was nothing wrong with the old site and many people praised its simplicity but time moves on and we've been able to incorporate a number of new additions to the new website which we hope you like.
First of these is a brand new look with a new, bigger slideshow and updated details about all the services and facilities we offer. We are virtually unique in being a financial media specialist. There are many contract publishing companies but very few have our depth of knowledge and experience in the financial sectors. In fact we have decades of experience in this area and this can save clients many hours of explaining themselves so we have a head start in this area.
We've also taken the opportunity to add in some social media tools, adding a Twitter feed for the first time. Do follow us and you'll get regular updates on what we're doing. There's also a new email newsletter keeping you up to date on Porfolio news via your mail inbox and lots of other new information about us as you look through the site.
We're excited about the changes and we hope you enjoy them. The new website will give us more more room to develop and will enable us to talk to clients and potential clients in new ways. Of course, all this fancy stuff is no substitute for talking to people and we pride ourselves on always being available on the phone to talk to you about how we can help.
As you'll see from the site we offer a very broad range of media services and can produce everything from a 3-page brochure website or newsletter to a 200-page full colour brochure or magazine. Our job is to listen to what you want to do and help you achieve it. We don't start with any pre-conceived notions of what you "should have." We ask you "what you want to achive" and then suggest ways to do this.
There are few businesses that don't need new business or new customers and this is one of our main focuses. Corporate media, whether it be a customer magazine or a Twitter feed, can be an invaluable way and cost-effective way to communicate with clients new and old. Your existing customers in particular will almost certainly value regular communication and updates on your services.
